Think Better in Pink

Two denim shirt post in a row! These were actually taken last week and I remember everyone at work (including non-gay architects) mentioning how much they liked my pants. I love embracing color and the easiest way for me to wear it without being too out there (although I don't really mind being too out there at times) is making it more casual by pairing it with the most casual thing in my closet, a denim shirt.

I'm off to LA for the weekend to search for apartments so wish me luck!

Just to answer a few frequently asked questions:

1) I do wear all the outfits from my outfit posts. However, I always keep a jacket with me since I'm one of those Californians who's always cold even when it's warm out.

2) Somebody asked if I get 'bunions' since I wear high heels all the time and omg, I just googled-imaged it and no, I don't have bunions. The trick to wearing heels is to wear ones with platform heels or wedges and I always have insoles inside.

3) I don't work out at all but I walk and talk a lot which I think helps burn calories

I have about 20 white blouses (maybe more) but all of them are different from one another and the cut offs on this blouse seem quite romantic. Harleys and Stripes

When I was old enough to drive and my dad asked what vehicle I'd like under a certain amount, I asked him if I could get a bike (blame it on Torque, a horrible motorcycle movie)

My dad's answer? "Only if it's a Harley" well, that never happened.

Aimeeways, I saw a really bad ass older man (here) riding his bike this day and I'm hoping one day I can be riding one with Wesley Mason sitting behind me or vice versa.

Cynthia Vincent's NYC Flagship

I'm so in love with Cynthia Vincent's flagship store in New York. It's a perfect mixture of modern and bohemian. How awesome are the pillows in the store and the super fun shoe shelves? When I first shopped for a sofa for my tiny studio I picked out a grey tufted sofa just like the one used in her store but couldn't afford the $10,000 price tag and opted for a much cheaper option. Looking at these photos brings back memories and leaves my heart aching for that sofa and those pillows and of course, a closet full of Cynthia Vincent clothes and bags!

Obama was in San Francisco to attend the fundraising for his campaign so Wesley Mason, Charcoal and I stopped by to check out the crowd and all the protesters. Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to see his car and escorts but we did manage to get some good snaps of the protestors. More Here
