The Beauty Post that I've promised a million years ago. I was born with eczema, sensitive skin + dry skin. The worst combo ever. Seriously the only good I got out of it was not getting pimples, but I'd take pimples over eczema any day.
Because I have such sensitive & high maintanance skin, I try to use all natural products that are hypoallergenic and try to use minimal make up as possible.
After waking up and brushing my teeth and everything, I dab on Lush's Dream Cream, then put Aveeno's Ultra-calming Daily Moisturizer. The first make up I put on is drawing my eye brows with Almay's blendable eye pencil. My sister who is a make up artist thinks I do a horrible job on it but I look better with drawn eye brows then without so I don't care. lol After my eye brows I put my Physician Formula Organic Wear Bronzer on. I honestly don't know how to put make up on well. I just do a smiley face and put the pink blush over my cheeks then mix the pink blush + bronzer and put it below my cheeks. After that since I'm almost always in such a rush, I put my little Revlon's Beyond Natural Lip tint on the streets or in the elevator.
That's all folks! Hope you enjoyed my very minimal cheap beauty post! These products work for me so hopefully it helps you out as well!

Bought this bag from Urban Outfitters the other day and I absolutely LOVE it. A Super duper cheap bag that fits my sketchbook and isn't too bulky!
I was trying to take a picture of the contents in my bag (because I'm just that bored lol) and Mr. Charcoal Mason Song decides to jump on top of my bag. Seriously, he loves anything that is cushy.
The top I am wearing is actually a dress, or was when I tried it on at UO but I washed it with my regular clothes and it shrunk and now is only wearable as a top or tunic even before I got to wear it as a dress. boo

I had originally wore this outfit yesterday without a bra but it was too skanky so at the last minute I changed my mind. (Seriously pain in the ass to pee in this especially when the bathroom that I can use is down in the lobby)
For those who don't know I work at the Design Center as well at an Architecture Firm. Yesterday was the opening of the Design Above All event, which is the lastest showcase from San Francisco Design Center. It is currently being held at One Rincoln Hill, a super high rise in SF. All the units were on the 53rd floor and when I went up the elevator (btw, got there in 20 sec) my ears popped.
It was amazing how all of the units were well put together and how different they were from one another depending on the designer.
For those who live in San Francisco or around SF you should definitely check out the Design Above All. It's so worth it. The view, the designs, the art works, and much more.

If I were living in LA I'd probably get one of the first two boots by telling my mom it looks super good on her and that she should get a half size bigger so all of us (Mom, Dani and I) can wear it. lol
The last pair are def SF worthy since it doesn't have massive heels.
Ah, I'll just drool about it...... Can I just have an early birthday present?

To all of your surprises, I actually read. I've just finished reading this one book called Still Alice which is about a well respected Harvard professor, Alice getting alzheimer and her struggles through it. This book started off pretty slow despite the fact that it's really thin but oh my gosh, after the super boring first 10 pages, it got so good that I couldn't stop reading it. I forget something every single day. I forget my cell phone most of the time and leave it somewhere. I could never find my lotion so I have two of each(one in the bathroom and one in somewhere in the apartment) and I also have two glasses because I could never find them. I'm sure I annoy the hell out of people around me and in a very tiny bit I feel like I could relate to Alice. No, it's nothing like what any alzheimer pation and their family are going through, it's really nothing, but I feel her pain, and her family's pain. Ugh, this book just hit me deep in the heart. Aimeeways, it's not just a sad alzheimer story so people don't get depressed and if you have spare time, you should read this book.

Btw, before I finished reading Still Alice I read The Time Traverler's Wife and I think it was the best novel I've read this year (to be honest, I only read three books this year lol) I'm not sure how the movie is, but you should definitely get yourself a copy of The Time Traverler's Wife. If the ending doesn't make you cry, you are one cold hearted, you know what. It's not really a sad story though. It's super funny too. Ok, enough of me babbling about books.
People, have a great week!

I get a lot of questions regarding my make up and I only draw my eye brows and put blush on. No, I'm not confident with my looks but I'm just too lazy to remove my make up so I keep it minimal. I'll do a somewhat beauty post soon regarding the make up, cleanser and lotion I use.
Aimeeways my darlings, hope you guys are enjoying this long weekend and if you haven't already, go out and watch Inglorious Bastards!

A New Beginning. Well, Sort of.

I've been trying (with the help of my wonderful boyfriend) for about 2 hours to put in my dresser into the closet and after cutting the base moldings(there goes my deposit!), dropping the huge dresser on my boyfriend's toes and fingers at least twice, and after cussing more than anyone I know we finally succeeded in putting that mofo in.

Ah, I've been so stressed lately. My family has finally evacuated and I finally quit that Hookah Restaurant Project after putting up with so much crap.
It sucks because the design they are using are all mine. seriously, all mine and none of theirs. The ones that the owners edited out were theirs. It pisses me out that after going through all the crap they put me to I couldn't take it any longer but then I feel so glad that I told the two kids I was working with that I refuse to work with them anymore. I'm sorry I'm not a pothead. I'm sorry I've got other important things to do than trying to pretend like I am coming up with ideas while smoking pot.
Aimeeways, enough being negative! After the big exhaustion, I found this in my inbox.
A sketch from Nathalie
Honestly, I don't deserve such drawing, and I feel super honored...
Thank you.
